Feb. 26, 2005 Lk. 15:1-32, Psalm 103
The Beloved’s home is our hearts, as we discover in the Silence. Blessed the beloved, all you people who abandon ourselves into God’s hands. (Psalm 103 (Nan Merccer)
God is our home—the parable of the prodigal reminds me that God is always waiting at the door for all of us—those who think they are righteous and the unrightious The door is never closed, it is always open.
I see my ministry as that—always leaving the door open, with God’;s grace, never turning anyone away. Always being that moment of grace. Ultimately that is all we have is God’s grace.
I continue to struggle with this infection, slept 12 hours yesterdaqy. Peter and matt are here to go with me to a bob marley festival, I am thinking about going to the coast for the next two days, hate spending money, but get exhausted so easy, but all in the eternal now, all in the grace of the Beloved. Deo Gratis! Thanks be to God!

Ps. 105, Genesis 37:3-4; 12-28, Matt. 21:33-43, 45-46
Yesterday served meal. David mckavit spent day an dhelped, he was a moment of grace for me yesterday. Was very intense, very intnese, constant people, constant phone, constant demands. Feeling lousy.
Today cooking meal for haight, doing spiritual direction with someone, and then I am going to bed, just exhausted.
Scriptures today remind me how the world never seems to never change, ruled by greed, power, ie joesph, and the vineyard,
But Jesus reminds us that ultimately there is the great paradox of God, that those who are not welcome today—the despised, the prostitutes etc. will be given the realm of God. For the y are the ones who are most open to the wholeness of God. Nan Merill in her free hand paraphase says to us in Psalm 105:
YOU ARE THE PROMISE OF OUR WHOLENESS, YOU AWAIT OUR READINESS TO CHOOSE LIFE. YOUR COVENANT OF LOVE STANDS FIRM THROUGH THE AGES; YOU FORGIVE US WHEN WE STRAY FAR FROM HOME. HELP US TO LEARN TO TURST YOU, TO UNTANGLE THE WEBS OF ILLUSION THAT WE HAVE MADE
AS WE SIFT THROUGH OUR DREAMS, GUIDE US TO THE ONLY DREAM that brings peace—knowing we belong to you. Give us courage and wisdom to release all that binds us; for to face what is built on illusion is to find new life.
Today my body is sore, I get tired easy. Yet the demands are still there, stepho lonely, wanting to talk, justin sick needing a place of respite for a couple of hours; jonothan, just hungry and wanting some company.
In my own fears I have to trust in that DREAM that is peace, and wholeness, for ultimately that is all we have life, all else is illusion. Deo Gratis! Thanks be to God!
