Today has been stressful to say the least. the whole week has been intense. 22 year old D was at the corner of pine and polk tonight, he had injected soma and who know what else, was seizing, called ambulance, he did not want to go, had to talk him into going before police would come to take him. spent afternoon with 19 year old G, who is in a treatment center. he was lonely, wanted someone to take him out to eat.

I figured out today that so far this week i have spent 17 hours of one on one in very intense situations. hard to believe, but i have, and i wonder why i am tired.

But each one is the Christ, and in each of them I saw my God, so why complain about being a little tired. Deo Gratis! Thanks Be to God!

got back from new york last night. day has been a madhouse. people needing food boxes. k has been in hospital, wanted to go home to texas, so i spent afternoon getting him ready and putting him on bus. long day, but a good day. life is not easy for any of us, and we are called to help each other on this journey. Deo Gratis! Thanks be to God!
