Today i returned from my day retreat in Pacifica to find 19 year old, juniper sitting at my door in a nod, had been there since 6:00 a.m., it was 10 a.m. looking for food and needles. he talked of signing up from college, and has the the best intentions but with his dope use it is obvious he wil never get organized enough to go. i met with my spiritual director and we talked of our the journey of discipleship is the cross, and what i often go through is intrensic to that journey. 20 year old tommy broke up with his "sugar daddy" who was refusing to give his identification back and and destroyed his belongings. he was upset and i talked to the man, and then tommy talked and got his stuff returned. the streets seem weired tonight, a lot of speed, alcohol, and people are every where. and so the saga goes.
